Our first wedding of the season started as sweetly as we had hoped, with Connecticut cuties, Kim & Jamie. It was a perfect spring day at the gorgeous Wequassett Resort & Golf Club…the sun was shining, people were ready to have some fun and love was most definitely in the air.
We first met Kim & Jamie last summer, so the anticipation for their big day has been building for some time, especially after we got these two sweeties in front of our cameras for their love session back in October. Talk about fun. Click HERE for a look and more on their story.
As expected, the day was everything a wedding should be…and more. Kim & Jamie’s families & friends were so fun and there was no time wasted in getting the party started.
The day was filled with lots of sparkle….Including her crazy beautiful Monique Lhuillier dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. Mmmmmmmmm good!

Everyone was dressed to the nines. Here some of the guys in their Joseph Abboud tuxes take a quick peek at their reflections. Lookin’ good boys!

Kim takes one last quick peek before heading out to say, “I do!” Everything at the resort was in full bloom!

We just loooove it when our couples make time to see each other before the ceremony. It helps calm any nerves they might have and lets us get all the family & bridal party photos out of the way, so they can enjoy their cocktail hour. This next photo was taken after they had their “first look,” with family & friends there to share in the love.

Kimmy and her super sweet mom, Julie, and dad, Greg. Love all the smiles!

Our happy couple share a smooch…

While watching the slideshow we’d put together at the reception, I overheard one of the guests say this next photo, as captured by my crazy talented hubby, looked like something out of a magazine….call me biased, but I agree.

Swooon…..

Hey beautiful…

Some guests enjoying a giggle before the ceremony starts…

Jamie leads the guys, followed closely behind by his super cute brother, Marty.

On the proud arm of her papa, Kim makes her way to her soon-to-be husband, who was doing everything he could to hold it together. Love when our guys get emotional!!!

The ceremonies at Wequassett don’t often take long, but the words spoken are full of love & lasting commitment…and the view? One of the best around!

Kim’s super cute cousin, Kelsey, was one of the readers. She did a fabulous job!

The girls’ gorgeous flowers, by the talented Patrice Milley.

Loooove the look of love in Kim’s eyes as she & Jamie exchange vows.

The girls react to the happy couple’s first kiss as husband & wife. Too cute!!!

You think they’re happy? Uhhhh…yeah!

Thought we’d try something new and utilize all those ceremony chairs. What do you think?

Family & friends enjoying cocktail hour…

While some of the guys get their smoke on…

Some reception details…

Can we talk about the peonies on this stunning cake? Looove it!

Checking out the room before guest come in…

Boogie time…

Jamie & his adorable mom, Debbie, have fun with their dance. Fun was most definitely the theme for Kim & Jamie’s day!

See what I mean?

Night Shift’s front man Ray Greene. Not only is he one of the sweetest (and dare I say drop-dead gorgeous) guys around, but he’s got some serious talent oozing out of every pour! He & the band absolutely rocked the night away and everyone was loving it! Even I was tempted to put down my cameras for a quick boogie!

Kim & Jamie, thank you so much for being so wonderful to work with; for welcoming us with open arms and for making us feel like part of the family. Even a few snags at the start of the day couldn’t dampen spirits or hamper all the fun! Getting to share all of it with you was such an honor and a pleasure! We love you guys and hope these photos serve as happy reminders of your incredible wedding day for many love-filled years still to come! With big love & hugs, Christine & Andy xoxo
