Earlier this summer, we were contacted by Kelly Karli of Frosted Pink Weddings. She had reached out to us for two reasons. The first, was to introduce herself and her business to us. You see, Kelly has been planning fabulous destination weddings for discerning couples in Colorado for the past five years, but, her roots are here in New England and she & her super sweet hubby, David, recently bought a home in Falmouth so that their crazy cute little boy, Bruin (told you…Boston strong!), could enjoy the same summer experiences she enjoyed here as a girl.
Kelly is also hoping to share her mad planning skills with brides & grooms planning Cape Cod destination weddings. She’s already begun accepting weddings this summer and plans to expand her business for next summer.
While she was here moving in and setting up shop, Kelly also wanted to have some family photos taken in and around their new summer abode. We met up with them at their gorgeous North Falmouth home a couple of weeks ago and went to a nearby beach so Bruin could play. Apparently, Bruin is not a huge fan of having his photo taken (neither am I little buddy, neither am I), but I think we got him to warm up to us before too long.
Here are a few of our favorite moments together with this super sweet family! Are they cute or what?

Bruin is all smiles when it comes to cars and cuddles…

Peek-a-boo, I see you!

Love his cheeky little grin in this next one, and the way Kelly & David are enjoying the moment.

Bruin was fixated on throwing stones into the water…and spent the better part of our time together looking for good ones and chucking them in. Here he is on the hunt. Can we talk about the little tongue sticking out in an oh-so-I’m-concentrating kind of way.

Oh momma, you so funny!

Love, love, love when parents tickle their little love bugs. It produces the best smiles from everyone.

See what I mean….

Bruin deciding (perhaps with a little prodding) to pick some flowers for his sweet mom. Ahhhhh…

Way to pick em little guy.

Who doesn’t love getting a bit more comfortable at the beach? Down to diapers and onto some playground play time.

Bruin was so cute in the swing. He kept sticking his hands out the legs. Does it get any cuter?

Time for a snack…this playing, I mean modeling, is hard work.

Bruin is all boy when it comes to his affinity for cars. Although, it must be said, I quite enjoyed playing with cars as a kid too. Just sayin’.

Vrrrooooom vrrrooom!

Chucking more stones in the water. Did you see that one, Dadda?

More stone throwing….

Although Bruin seems to really get a kick out of throwing stones in the water, that’s nothing compared to how he feels about trucks. So, it was super lucky that one pulled up in front of his house just as we were returning from the beach. Honestly, you should have seen the reaction in person. And, when the driver let Bruin climb on in for a few photos. Oh man…I don’t know who was happier, Bruin or me.

Seriously, can we talk about the pose & expression for a second. This little love monkey is too much!

I think he knew his time in the big truck was coming to an end….so sad and so stinkin’ cute!

Kelly & Dave, it was so great meeting you both. Andy & I look forward to hopefully seeing more of you in the summers ahead. We absolutely loved spending the evening with you and Bruin…he is just so precious and totally put up with us, which we know isn’t always easy when you’re little and just want to play. We hope these photos serve as happy reminders of this exciting time in your lives…both personally & professionally. We look forward to celebrating the successes we know await you here on Cape Cod! Big hugs to you all! (And to your mom & dad too…so nice meeting them!) And, special thanks to Mr. Truck Driver…you made that little boy’s day! Chris & Andy xoxo
