The rain may have been falling, but that certainly didn’t damper spirits or overshadow all of the love & goodness at Lindsay & Chris’s aaahhhh-mazing June wedding at the Oyster Harbors Club in Osterville. We’d been looking forward to this day since we first met Lindsay & Chris last July. Click HERE for a look at their fall love session shot in Boston.
Chris is a photography enthusiast and was super excited about us and what we do, which makes us even more excited about what we do. He also happens to be one of the nicest guys you could ever meet….sweet, caring, thoughtful, humble….all around wonderful.
And, Lindsay….while being quite obviously drop-dead gorgeous, it is her inner beauty that really draws people to her. I was lucky enough to spend the morning of her wedding with her, her lovely mom, dad & equally lovely sister, Allison, and girlfriends/bridesmaids and it was everything a wedding morning should be…relaxed, fun, happy…and filled with the promise of things to come.
Lindsay’s face in the below photo says it all…

Some super cute and belly fun snacks included in the customized gift boxes Lindsay & Chris made for their guests.

Lindsay gets a hand getting into her gorgeous dress from her super sweet sis, Allison, and wonderful momma, Karen, who wins my award for best MOB dress of the year.

These broaches were Lindsay’s something borrowed from her mom & grandmother. Lindsay pinned one to the underside of her dress, keeping Grandma close. So sweet. And, can we talk about the gorgeous lines of her body as she puts on her super cute Badgley Mischka shoes? Looove!!!

This could be my favorite shot of the day, captured just as her super sweet dad, Bob, is coming in the room to see his baby girl for the first time…

The moment…..swoon!!! Look at his hands, clasped in joy & adoration. And, that smile?! Makes my heart skip a beat! Equally as lovely is the look on cousin & Junior Bridesmaid, Maddie’s, sweet face as she watches the scene unfold.

Dashing rain drops, Lindsay makes her way into the limo and off to the church we go…

Think she’s excited?

Part of their adorable invites by Papers & Presents in Wellesley, with wedding bands by Joseph Gann in Boston.

Our handsome groom, Chris, puts on his cufflinks…

Chris & his mates: (from left to right): Sean, Grant, Michael, Nate and brother & bestie, Ryan (love this guy!). Hi boys!

Chris’s warm & wonderful Papa, Ed, moments before the ceremony begins, along with groomsman extraordinaire, Michael. Moments like these…unrehearsed, spontaneous and full of joy….are what we live to capture!

Another such moment as fellow groomsman extraordinaire and brother of the bride, Rob, exchanges a playful glance with his cousin & program hander-outer, Patrick.

Arriving guests happily dodge the rain as they make their way to the church. Way to work the umbrella, Grant!

Love the seriousness of her posture as flower girl, Sophia, gets ready to make her way down the aisle. Next up are Maddie and ring bearers, John & Connor, followed closely behind by Lindsay & her dad. Plus, gorgeous flowers by Lilac Florals.

Here comes the bride….

As serious as the commitment of marriage is, it’s also an incredibly joyful, exciting time and this next photo highlights that.

With this ring, I thee wed.

The look of love…

The new Mr. & Mrs.

As much as couples who plan for a Cape Cod wedding might imagine sunshine & sandy shores, there is something sweet & oh so romantic about the rain…

After the ceremony, on the trolley to Oyster Harbors, Chris surprised Lindsay with the gift of a second diamond wedding band. So sweet!

Thanks honey….

Our happy couple…

Sealed with a kiss…

Just love how these two are together.

Lindsay and her fabulous gal pals (from left to right): Stacey, Leigh, sis Allison, Stephanie, Colleen (who is expecting her first child…yay!!) and Jr. Bridesmaid, cousin Maddie. Way to strut your stuff girls!

The first dance…ahhhhh!

We have seen a LOT of toasts over years, and many have moved us to tears. But, few have moved us and a room full of 160+ people the way Ryan’s, Chris’s brother, best man speech did. Wait staff, the band and, of course, all the guests were enraptured as Chris laid it all out there, opening his heart in the most beautiful of ways. There were tears of joy & laughter. It truly was perfection, leaving me wishing Ryan was my little brother!

The hug and standing ovation that followed. {heart}

Love the joy in this next one…get down on it people! Woooo hooo!

Lindsay & Chris’s band were fantastic! We had never seen Decades by Dezyne before, but man do those guys know how to put on a show. Half way through the night, they changed into their disco duds for some serious boggie time! Love it!

A stolen moment at the end of the night…

Lindsay & Chris, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing such a special day with us. You two are wonderful and we had such an amazing time with you and your incredible families & friends! We hope these photos serve as wonderful, love-filled reminders of this new chapter in your lives…and chapter you can look back on years from now and relive with the same joyful celebration as you did on the day itself. We adore you two and can’t wait to share the entire collection with you….so much love it really was hard to pick just a few! With love & hugs, Christine & Andy xoxo
