Today, Sara & Mike celebrate one month of marriage….yaaay! And we’d like to mark the happy occasion by sharing with you some photos from their AAHHH-MAZING Oyster Harbor Club wedding.

You might remember Sara & Mike from our love session with them last summer. Click HERE for a look. We just love these two sweeties. They are warm, funny, loving & considerate people who are crazy about each other and completely dedicated to their families & friends. These qualities in a couple are often good indicators for the kind of wedding that is full of love and those memory-making moments that we photographers live for.
And, as we had suspected, Sara & Mike’s wedding didn’t disappoint. It was the stuff of fairy tales. Perfect weather, lots of love & happy faces, and people completely invested in having a fabulous time.

Sara’s super sweet dad, Bob, seems lost in his thoughts as he hangs out in the kitchen at the start of the day. Sara isn’t the first of her four siblings to get married, but I suspect it’s always a little bittersweet for dear ol’ dad.
Sara gets a hand getting into her gorgeous dress by her super sweet and lovingly-attentive bridesmaids Ann (Mike’s sister) and cousin, Jessica, while flower girl extraordinaire, Madeline, gets her auntie’s shoes ready. I just love this moment with Maddy…lost in little girl daydreams about wearing big girl shoes. Precious!
While getting buttoned in, Sara’s mom, Midge (whom we ADORE), gets her first look at her little girl all grown up. Be still my heart!
I don’t know what it is about children taking pictures that I love so, but I really do. It just makes me so happy…the idea that someone so young sees the value in capturing moments is something I don’t think I’ll ever grown tired of witnessing, especially when the photographers in making are as cute as Maddy here…

Meanwhile, across town, the guys were doing less getting ready and more having fun. Our groom, Mike takes a swing at a ball thrown by his little brother & best man, Mark.
