Aimee, Rick ,Tess & Brooks Family Session ~ Wellesley Photographer

F0323_0002

We’ve always said we didn’t want to just be wedding photographers to our couples…just two more vendors there for one day and then gone from their lives once our job was done. No, we’ve always wanted more! For us, it’s always been about building lasting relationships. We want to get to know our couples in a deep and meaningful way, one that turns into a lasting friendship. And, that’s exactly what’s happened with Aimee & Rick.

Like so many of our wonderful Bello Family members, Aimee & Rick have been in our lives for several years. We first met them when they reached out to us about photographing their Ridge Club wedding here on Cape Cod. Flash forward ten years and we’ve been there with them to document not only their engagement and wedding, but also the arrival of their baby girl, Tess and then again a few years later, after baby brother, Brooks, joined the party. We’ve also photographed Aimee’s sister and her family and the sisters’ parents for a big group family session.

It has been so wonderful to see where life and love have taken Aimee and Rick, to watch their family grow and blossom. And blossom it has!

Here are a few of our favorite moments and photos from our recent trip to Wellesley to hang out with this lovely little tribe.

Just love the faces on these two beauties as Tess gives her baby brother a great big hug! It’s so obvious how totally smitten Brooks is with his big sister….look at his face as he chases her! Love these two!!!

Such a good big sister, and such an adoring baby brother. Tess & Brooks, you have our hearts!

Beautiful, bright, feisty, fabulous…Tess.

03 lovely Tess

Brooksie is such a trooper…he’s been through more surgeries than anyone of his young age should have to endure. He was born with a cleft pallet, which doctors have been working hard to correct. Still, he remains the happiest, sweetest wee one. Just love him.

And big sister, Tess, is just as full of life, love and everything wonderful. Aimee & Rick, you sure are doing something right with these two sweet peas!

I mean come on…

They really do love each other…it’s the sweetest.

F0323_0094

Oh, the happiness that comes from watching children be fully joyful!! Nothing like it!

F0323_0105

We spend a lot of time on our family sessions…so everyone can feel comfortable enough to really let their guard down. We even build in time for some real play…in this case, a few rounds of Duck, Duck, Goose.

It is in these moments where life’s sweetest pleasures lie.

Run sweet, Tess, run!

When the games are finished our love bugs collapse in a heap of laughter.

…which provides the perfect setting for a silly family photo.

Married nine years and still going strong…

F0323_0215

Aimee is such a good mom…having learned from one of the best! I don’t know how she’s endured what she has with Brooks and all his surgeries. I get to see so many amazing moms with their sweet babes, and when they look at each other, you can just feel the connection. There’s nothing quite like the momma & child relationship. Saying that, Tess & Brooks have quite a special relationship too. I just LOOOVE this adorable candid moment Andy caught of them as we were heading to our next photo spot. I just love everything about it…from Brooks’ adorable T-shirt and glasses, to the way he’s trying to impart some bit of wisdom on his confident big sister. Just love it!

Why hello little man….what big eyes you have. “The better to see straight into your heart with!” Swooon! This face!! Just yummy!

F0323_0278

Can we talk about these two for a second?

08 boston childrens photographer

I mean come on!!! I usually take the kiddos off on their own for a minute and we just chat…about school, upcoming events…how silly Andy is…whatever. And it is in these moments, that I am able to capture photos that I like to think truly reflect the personalities of my subjects. Makes my heart sing every time!

09 boston childrens photographer

As do moments like these….

F0323_0246

And these….Mmmmm good!

F0323_0249

And with that, we say goodbye to this wonderful, playful, super sweet family….for now!

F0323_0239

Aimee & Rick….THANK YOU!! For opening your hearts and lives to us once again and for sharing your sweetest boos with us! You guys are very blessed with a lot of love in your life and we’re so happy you continue to share that with us! Until next time….big love & hugs, Christine & Andy xoxo

Jackie & Chris’s Wychmere Harbor Club wedding ~ Harwich Port photographers

bride & groom on beach path

Jackie & Chris’s wedding day was Cape Cod perfection at it’s best….quintessential beach wedding goodness, right from the rainy, cloudy start to the spectacularly sunny finish. With Wychmere Harbor Club’s sandy beach paths and their sailboat entrance, it’s what one dreams their wedding will be when deciding you want to say, “I do!” on these beautiful shores of the Cape.

We’ve known Jackie for many years now, since first meeting her when she was MOH at the wedding of her big sis, Jenn. We loved her then and had always hoped we might be there to document her wedding day…when the time was right. Well, the time was right…and everything could not have gone better!

We first had the pleasure of meeting Chris last summer, when we photographed him and Jackie for their crazy beautiful love session in Sandwich. Click HERE for a look.

Chris is a quiet, kind, warm, and clearly smitten with Jackie. They are really such a sweet couple. We loved spending time with them and had so much fun at their e-session, which was also classic Cape Cod goodness. Jackie’s dress for the e-session was awesome!!! I literally gasped when I saw her, knowing it would catch the wind and just be so beachy beautiful. But, man, did she turn up the heat for her wedding, with her amazing mermaid style Amsale gown that hugged in all the right places. Chris’s classic grey JCrew suit was the perfect compliment! Truly, all of the details they selected were beautiful and came together perfectly thanks to the flawless execution of planner, Allison Liset and her team at Elegant Engagements.

Here’s Jackie & Chris’s invitations by Kleinfeld Paper….. elegant and understated, with the perfect pop of gold! And, just love the image they chose from our e-session for their Save the Date card. Perfect!

Taaaaa daaaaaa…I mean, come on!!! What’s not to love about Cape Cod weddings?!!!

bride & groom on sailboat

Meanwhile, back at the dock, Chris’s niece, Kayla, waits with her Papa Joe for Uncle Chris & Auntie Jackie to arrive. When Andy & I started Bello 14 years ago, we decided early on that we wanted to photograph weddings together, so we could really tell a more complete story of our couples’ wedding day. It’s been one thing that’s really made us stand out and our work shine and we’re so happy to see more studios offering two shooters.

Greeted by waves and warm smiles from their adoring family & friends, Jackie & Chris make it to the dock…thumbs up!

Waving to the crowd as they approach the dock. One of the great things about Wychmere is the dock and the balcony above that allows us to get a group shot of everyone for our couples. We just love that!! And, we hope they do too!

wychmere wedding details

I’m not a fan of the expression sisters before misters…but I do love the way women love & support each other. These friendships we forge with one another are like no others. Our gal pals get us, are there for us, inspire and cheer each other on. And, this photo sums that up for me. I just love it! And, loved hanging with these beautiful, wonderful, totally awesome women!!!

wychmere wedding toasts

While dinner was still going on, and the sun has settled below the horizon, we stole Jackie & Chris away for a few minutes…one more cherry on the top of an already cherry-rific cake. I had seen this field of Queen Anne’s Lace earlier in the day and knew it would be an amazing spot for photos. It was a small grassy area that didn’t look like much…but TAAAA DAAAA! I just love when I find spots that others might look right past and find a way to make them extraordinary. I try to challenge myself with this every time I shoot and it makes me so happy that I can still do it…14 years later!

Completely unprompted, Sir Christopher kisses his beautiful bride’s hand and at once, my heart melted! Swoon!

What an amazing time we had at this wedding! Jackie & Chris, thank you so very much for being so warm and wonderful…for sharing such a special time in your lives with us and for giving us so much love & goodness to capture! Thanks too to Maria & Charlie for inviting us to document another wedding for your amazing family! You guys are wonderful and we adore you and our time together! Joe & Lee….it was so wonderful meeting you both and getting to know your wonderful sons. A special shout out to the bridal party…who rocked it and made our job so fun!! Special thanks too to Wychmere’s Karen Rood and staff for making our job not feel like work! To all the amazing vendors who remind us why we are lucky to do what we do in this beautiful place we call home!! Jackie & Chris, we hope you enjoy this sneak peek…honestly, it was sooooo hard choosing just a few photos to share while your proof book is getting printed! I feel like we left so many amazing ones out! Cannot wait for you to see them all!! Honestly….the best is yet to come!! Love you guys! Christine & Andy xoxo

Kira & Adam’s Heritage Museum & Gardens Wedding ~ Cape Cod Wedding Photographers

Our last wedding of the season could not have ended on a sweeter note than with the beautiful Heritage Gardens wedding of Kira & Adam. We first met these two lovelies back in July, when we photographed their e-session at Kira’s dad’s home in Centerville. We knew from our first chat via Skype that we would have fun with these two and they didn’t disappoint.

The fun and love was only amplified at their wedding last month. It was one of those idyllic fall days in October, when the air is cool, but not cold, the sky blue and friends & family were ready to celebrate! Their ceremony was held on the Flume Garden lawn, with the waterfall behind them, and birds still singing in the trees. It was perfection!

Surprisingly, this was our first time photographing a wedding at Heritage Museum & Gardens, but we sure hope it’s not our last….what an absolutely spectacular setting!!

Following the ceremony, guests walked up the path to a (heated) tented reception, just outside the Heald Center. And guests danced and delighted in the love & joyful celebration until late in the night.

The day started at the quaint Dan’l Webster Inn, where Kira & Adam each got ready separately. Dressed in a personalized robe, Kira gets the finishing touches on her make up by the talented folks at Beauty Muse Bridal. Hair by Cheryl Zercoe-Webb of Salon One in Wellesley.

Looking stunning in her Aire Barcelona gown and adorable custom-designed and initialed wedding flats by New Balance, where Kira works. Loooove that personalized touch!

Getting a little help with her veil and checking out the finished look….isn’t she lovely!

Beautiful Kira…

Lacey details and off to see her soon-to-be husband.

Love this next one as Kira spies herself in the car mirror as she gets ready to head to Heritage Gardens.

And, in another room at the Dan’l Webster, Adam finishes dressing and gets ready to meet his bride.

A little help from his sweet Dad, Allan…

And, he waits…..

For that first look….awww, love his open-mouthed expression of approval and appreciation! So cute!

Oh, the happy faces of love, how they do make my heart smile!

More happy….

Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping. For only the  hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together.  For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow. ~ The Prophet

The light and intimacy of this particular garden was the perfect backdrop for portraits of these two…

Just so lovely….

Adam is such a tender gentleman with Kira. Loved how he grabbed her hand as they walked to join family.

And, after signing the Ketubah, they joined guests gathered for the ceremony on the Flume lawn. Oh how happy are these lovely faces. Adam flanked by his beautiful momma, Karen and dad, Allan.

I just love outdoor ceremonies. Guests always look so happy…..

Kira & Adam’s AHHH-DORABLE ring bearer, Collin, and flower girls (left to right) Emily, Talia, Madison & Zoe….all taking their jobs quite seriously. Too much cuteness!

More happy guest faces….as they watch Kira make her way to Adam…

Kira, flanked by her beautiful momma & proud papa, Nancy & Ron.

I love when couples take a moment during the ceremony to look out at their family & friends and take in all of the love being directed at them. So beautiful…

With this ring, I thee wed.

Zoe decided mid ceremony that there weren’t quite enough petals scattered…much to everyone’s delight!

Another reason I love outdoor ceremonies so much is that they often inspire this…..

Kira’s smile is infectious and beautiful. Love her.

And with a kiss, it’s official….our new missus & mister!

Greeted with a standing ovation. Wooo hooo!

Loooove Adam’s expression and Kira’s reaction to him!!! Just love!!!

We did it!!!!

More happy…

Some pretty details, including flowers by Fancy Flowers and tent by Undercover Tent, with catering by the always fabulous Casual Gourmet.

The Horah is one of my favorite wedding traditions….so much fun and love and good times!

Reacting to toasts….

Cutting of the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cake, courtesy of the Casual Gourmet…holy deliciousness! And, the first dance.

Talia absolutely stole me heart…what a precious little girl. She was so attentive to her family, especially her great grandma, who she is dancing with here. Watching the way she looked at her and gave her such undivided attention just melted my heart and made me miss my own Grandma & Grandpa. This really is a special little girl! Love her!

Dancing with their flower girls….now, no pressure or anything meant here, but Kira & Adam would make amazing parents if that was something they wanted in their lives. These two are just so wonderful together and obviously have a lot of love to give. {Swooon!}

Sparkle-licious ending to a perfect day!

Kira & Adam, thank you so much for choosing to share this incredible day of love & celebration with us!! We hope you enjoy this sneak peek as much as we enjoyed being there to document all of that goodness!! You two are wonderful and we are so happy to have met you both and got to share in this chapter in your lives. We cannot wait for you to see the rest of the photos and look forward to seeing where life takes you both next!

Until then, big love & hugs, Chris & Andy xoxo
