Christina & Jon’s Falmouth Wedding ~ Cape Cod Photographers

The Falmouth wedding of Christina & Jon was pretty much a fairytale in every way! Princess Christina & Prince Jon are just the kindest, most lovely, warm, wonderful people one could ever hope to meet…they’re not really royalty, in case that wasn’t obvious, but they do have everything going for them that a Disney prince & princess do…all that AND a bag of chips!

We were lucky enough to be a part of their wedding rehearsal dinner the night before their wedding, so we got to meet a lot of their closest peeps. You can catch a glimpse into those fun festivities HERE.

But, their wedding was definitely the pièce de résistance of the weekend as about 170 friends and family members gathered to celebrate these two special people.

Their beautiful ceremony was held at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in North Falmouth and was led by Deacon Peter Guresh.  Their reception followed at the family’s ocean front home in North Falmouth, under a gorgeous sailcloth tent by Sperry Tent, with crazy beautiful flowers by the ridiculously talented Courtney Iris Barnes of Courtney’s Floral Creations. Catering was provided by the fabulous Olive Chase at The Casual Gourmet, and music by the high-energy, super fun Boston band, Hi-Fi, with all of the details of the weekend coming together seamlessly thanks to the care and creativity of the dynamic duo Megan & Sarah from Elegant Engagements.

Christina’s drop-dead gorgeous Reem Acra dress was definitely fit for a princess.

Just love how their stunning wedding invitations by Elise Cherney of No Regrets in Newtonville were a subtle nod to Christina’s dress.

Getting into her dress with a little help from her beautiful momma, Elissa. Just love her boho chic ponytail by Erik Howard of Will Charles Salon.

Mom getting a good look and clearly liking what she sees! Who could blame her!

Christina’s super sweet dad, Dennis, getting his first glimpse. Just love their reactions!

Bridemaids and cousins, Julia (left) and Leah putting on their finishing touches.

Stunning….

Meanwhile at the Sea Crest Hotel, Jon and his besties get ready for the big day.

Henry puts on his bow tie, as Jon and his other groomsmen get ready. Such a nice group of guys, which is no surprise given how lovely Jon is.

Looking good, Jon!!! You too Max!

What did we ever do to entertain ourselves before smart phones? I have no idea what the guys were watching, but it looks like it was good stuff.

A toast with your best mates…what could be better?

Jon & Christina opted for a first look, which meant meeting back at Christina’s grandfather’s house for photos….loved having all the time we had with these guys before the ceremony & reception began.

With everyone else away for a bit, Jon waits for Christina to make her way to him for their first look. I just love his face and how he’s biting his tongue, no doubt to hold back the happy tears. Such a tender heart!

The look of love….

And an embrace that speaks volumes!! Just love these two!

Oh Jon…..you are the sweetest!

With you by my side….everything is possible.

After a few minutes with our happy couple, we invited family to join us for some photos. Just love this candid moment featuring Jon’s crazy sweet momma, Karen, and dad, Tom.

Fun times with best friends….(PS…If you’re a frequent visitor to our blog…AND have a killer memory…you may recognize Christina’s totally awesome sister & MOH, Jac (right). We photographed her amazeballs wedding four years ago.)

In addition to her sis, Christina’s bridal party included all cousins. For Jon, it was his closest friends and big brother, Brendan, was BM. Such an awesome group!! We had so much fun with these guys!

We had so much fun with these guys!

This next one reminds me of something out of one of those thick coffee table fashion photography books. I just love those in between moments in life…when folks aren’t aware of our cameras and everything just falls into place in such a beautiful, real way! (PS…Keep an eye out for Christina’s cousin, Julia, holding her dress, we photographed her wedding a few weeks after this one and will be highlighting that soon on our blog!)

Quiet moments with our princess and prince.

We’re goinnnnng to the chapellll and we’re gonnnnnaaa get maaaaaarried. Waving by to family as they head to the limo.

And, here we go….

Friends arrive at St. Elizabeth Seton for the ceremony…excited to see these two awesome people say, “I do!” Heeeey, Marissa!!

That moment, when you feel all the feels and realize this man you’ve loved forever is about to lead you down the aisle to meet the new, most important man in your life. So much love & gratitude…for showing you what a real man looks like and for loving you without limits. Just the best!!!

Here comes the bride….Jon can barely contain himself, and Christina’s little shoulder scrunch as she feels all eyes on her! AHHHH, these two….just the sweetest!!!

Love the look Elissa gives Dennis after he takes his seat. Proud parents…so sweet!

Sharing words of wisdom, guidance and love, Deacon Guresh speaks to Christina & Jon.

Here we go….the “I do!” part. You think they’re happy?

With this ring….I thee wed.

Wooooooo hoooooo!!!

The new Mr. & Mrs.!!!

Family celebrate with hugs outside the church, including Jon’s dad & brother. So sweet!

Our happy couple boarded a trolley with family & bridal party and off they went, first bidding farewell to guests still outside the church.

Love these quiet moments on the trolley, when couples have a chance to soak in what just happened.

A few quick beach portraits with our newly married Mr. & Mrs.

A perfect summer night + a sailboat + a kiss from your forever person + a day to remember = one hell of a fairytale!

Practicing their first dance moves on the jetty…be still my heart!

Here in your arms is where I always want to be…

Love. Love. Beautiful Love!

Pretty in pink…just love the way the tent came together with all the stunning details.

And touches of gold.

Elissa and friends enjoying cocktail hour.

Friends of C&J gather for a photo.

Cousin Ashley enjoying cocktail hour conversation…so cute!

Their first dance as a married couple…

The reaction from family & friends was one of rousing approval.

Brendan’s toast could be my all time favorite best man toast ever! He crushed it!! It was sweet and sentimental, full of love & pride for his baby brother and it was also brilliant and hysterically funny.

Reacting to loving words directed at her new husband.

I felt for Jac, having to follow Brendan, but she too nailed it and gave her sissie all the feels!

So much love between these two sweet sisters. Just love them and feel so grateful to have shared such special days with them both!!

When you get a killer sunset, you gotta interrupt dinner for a few quick photos. Baaaaam!!!

Dancing with his beautiful momma…can’t you feel the joy?

Guests getting down on it…

Get it Matty….the love was contagious.

Auntie Sarah busting some serious moves…you go girl!

More fun dance floor antics.

A perfect ending to a perfect day!

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special for our happy couple. Heartfelt thanks to Elissa & Dennis, for once again sharing such an important family milestone with us and entrusting us to document these precious family memories!! Christina & Jon….you two are just delightful in every way and we feel so honored to have shared in this amazing day with you both!! Thank you for welcoming us with such open arms and open hearts and reminding us why we love what we do!! We hope these photos bring you as much joy as being a part of your wedding brought us! Christine & Andy xoxo

Kendall & Ray’s Wianno Club Wedding ~ Cape Cod Photographers

Kendall & Ray found us through Cara, one of our brides from last summer and Kendall’s former co-worker back when they both lived & worked in DC. Although it took a while for us to meet, Kendall & I chatted on the phone several times, and each time she had me laughing and growing more excited about being a part of her & Ray’s wedding. And, when we did finally meet…they were as fun & sweet as we knew they would be!

Although a self-described, “anti-bride”….still not entirely sure what that means, Kendall was absolutely stunning on her wedding day…the kind of vision in white that little girls dream of one day being. And, she & Ray were beaming the ENTIRE day. Their smiles were infectious and completely unaffected by the rain that seemed intent on making an appearance for most of their day.

We often say that although the rain makes doing photos outside not always desirable, it does seem to have a positive effect on the overall feel of the day.  I’m not sure if folks feel like they need to rally for their friends because of the rain or if the couples who get rain are just super fun, positive people, who understand that life can be messy and unexpected things happen, and, rather than wallow, they choose to embrace it, dance in puddles and know that without rain there would be no rainbows.

That is exactly the kind of people Kendall & Ray are and their wedding was the perfect reflection of that and how they love life and the people closest to them with their hearts wide open……which is the surest way to our hearts.

I have heard that there are more than a few people excited to see this one, so, without further ado…here’s a sneak peek at the wonderful Wianno Club wedding of Kendall & Ray….

Kendall and her girls got ready at the quaint Captain David Kelley House. The owners were nice enough to the let girls take over the front porch for hair & make up with the lovely Erin Kennedy of Artworx Hair Design and Kimberly Richard. The porch was also a great place for photographing some of their wedding day details, like Kendall’s stunning Hayley Paige wedding gown and her gorgeous wedding rings, including her grandmother’s diamond & sapphire wedding band.

I love these relaxed moments of getting ready. Kendall is all smiles as she chats with her super sweet mom, Shelley, and her best gal pals.

It was an unseasonably chilly August day…perhaps made so by the rain, so the girls tried to get warm with some coffee. I don’t know why I enjoy this shot, but it just makes me feel like cuddling up with a cuppa and a good book.

Getting dress, and some help tying her bow from her fabulous Grandma, whom I absolutely loved!! I want to be just like her when I’m 80.

Catching a private moment with Kendall and her mom as they prepare to head to the church…

Ducking the rain & wet ground, Kendall makes her way to the trolly….love this girl and her beautiful, smiling face!!

Meanwhile, Ray & his brother Greg get dressed…

Suspenders locked & loaded and shoelaces tied and we’re ready to go…

Ray’s very sweet & loving momma, Deb, helps the guys with their boutineers.

The fellas…

Kendall was all smiles and raring to marry her best friend. Love this moment captured by Andy just outside the church! It’s so fun to edit and see sweet moments like this captured by my talented hubs!

Have I mentioned how much I LOOOVE it when our grooms get emotional upon seeing their bride? Soooo much! Can we talk about Ray’s sweet face for a second??? {swoon}

Here comes the bride…

As serious as the commitment of marriage is and should be…moments like this are also part of it….my favorite part of it!

More happy faces, followed by some sweet kisses.

They did it!!! The new Mr. & Mrs.!!!

We got a very brief break in the rain to take a few photos just before the light was completely gone….wooo hoooo!

Hello lovelies…

Time to party!! Love the expression on the face of Kendall’s sweet sister, Molly!

The lovely ladies…

Laughing and having fun was pretty much the theme of the day for this wonderful group. Just delightful!

A quite sisterly moment….

Some reception details…

Ta da….

Their first dance was as wonderful as every other part of their magical day…surrounded by their swaying bridal party, Kendall & Ray couldn’t stop smiling!

Love. Love. Oh, glorious Love!

Locked by arms, their friends serenaded K&R with a little swaying back & forth, which clearly delighted all involved….and those watching.

A big momma bear hug.

More love & goodness…

Now, time to boogie…on down!

Ray & several of his groomsmen played football for Harvard and had a tradition of dancing in a circle to Dancin’ in the Moonlight. This version was special, as Kendall was put in the middle of the circle of love.

You go girl!

Happy. Happy. Happy!

Ray & Kendall join the band for a little sing-along.

Kendall & Ray thank you so much for including us in your AMAZING wedding and for welcoming us with open arms & open hearts! We loved watching you two together and with your family & friends. So much love and such joyful celebration!! We hope these photos serve as happy reminders of your incredible day for many happy years to come. More to follow soon!! And a special shout out to sweet Cara for sending you our way. There is no greater compliment than when our fabulous couples refer us to their friends and spread the bello love!! We love extending our bello family in this way! So thank you!! With big love & hugs, Christine  & Andy xoxo

Kate & Hugh’s Woods Hole Wedding ~ Cape Cod Wedding Photographers

Despite their size difference, Kate & Hugh are one of those couples that when you see them together, it’s hard to deny that they just FIT together…..and I mean, fit perfectly! They share the same sense of fun, abundant love for one another, and a sincere passion for living life to its fullest.

Their wedding, at Kate’s family’s summer home in Woods Hole, was a true reflection of those things they hold most dear. It was also quite a party! With 400 guests, a 28-person bridal party and dancing that seemed like it might never stop…it was a day filled with love & happy celebration! It was so wonderful to watch Kate’s parents, Nancy & Craig, beam with pride over their baby girl and the union they so obviously supported, all while throwing a party of Great Gatsby-like proportions. It truly was an amazing day, and, Andy & I were honored to have been there to document all of that joyful exaltation!

Here’s a peek at their F A B U L O U S wedding:

Kate’s stunning Monique Lhullier wedding gown and make up by the talented Katrina Hess. Hair by the fabulous Marisa Marino of Stilisti Salon.

Simply gorgeous! And, that happy expression was the one she was wearing all day long!

Sexy hot pink Christian Dior shoes and some seriously sexy bling to match! Looove!

Kate’s super sweet momma, Nancy, was beaming (and getting a little welled up) with pride and love for her sweet girl, as she sees her dressed and ready to marry her best friend.

The excitement builds….

Kate’s besties react to seeing their gorgeous friend…

Meanwhile, down the road a bit, Hugh gets dressed and ready with his favorite guys. Part of his wedding wear included these cufflinks that belonged to his grandfather and namesake, former Governor of New York Hugh Carey.

Looking good in his custom-designed Vineyard Vine tie, featuring flags with his & Kate’s initials.

Thumbs up to the cool ties….

Having some fun with his mates…

Hugh arrives in style for the ceremony, then takes a moment for a quick photo with his guys, including his best man and little brother, Donnie.

Kate & her proud papa, Craig, ready to enter the church….love these emotional expressions. Weddings are so freaking awesome!

I love this photo and the appropriate symbolism of the past, the present and the future depicted in the reflections seen in the church doors.

Giving away his baby girl….LOOOVE! Seriously, be still my daddy-lovin’ heart!

And embracing his new son……more love!!!

The love & laughter, oh how it did flow….

Hugh & Kate’s flower girls were crazy cute and really getting into the ceremony….

As a surprise to their guests, Hugh & Kate delivered the communion during their wedding mass. So lovely.

The new Mr. & Mrs.! Yaaahoooo! (if only people would put down their cell phones and bask in the glory of the moment!

Hugh is a little too tall for the car they made their get-away in. Watching him try to squish in was precious….almost as much as Kate’s face as she watched in delight.

The happy couple….

We went to the house Hugh’s dad had rented to do some photos, but first, a little snack for our newly married couple….I really LOVE candid moments like these. Totally my faves.

A vision…..

The old house has such character…and Kate’s stunning dress suited it perfectly.

Heading down to the gardens for photos….

Jumping for joy….

Hugh’s guys and his girl…..so fun!

Our sweet couple….

Love and a pink, heart-shaped bush….it was meant to be! Seriously…a pink, heart shaped bush! It’s like it was made for this moment!

Hot pink and ready to party….

Hugh & Kate and their bridal party sailed over to the reception, captained by Kate’s dad….does this look like an ad for Ralph Lauren or what??

As they approached the party, Hugh & Kate released some balloons…..letting their love rise to the heavens. Ahhhhh….

Meanwhile, a staff of several dozen from The Catered Affair prepared for dinner, canopied beneath a gorgeous Sperry Tent, with flowers by the incomparable Winston Flowers.

Love this super sweet basket-weave cake by Icing on the Cake.

One of Hugh & Kate’s signature drinks…..looks as good as their guests. Hello sexies!

Cocktail hour candid moments…my faves.

Hugh’s beautiful momma, Pam, digs in to the raw bar.

As Hugh & Kate make their arrival to the reception, greeted by lots of happy waves.

Trying to corral 400 people was no easy feat…but we did it. Wooo hooo!

Yay for love…and for Hugh & Kate!

This is what I strive for…..love like this, after so many years. Truly, is there anything more beautiful?

An entrance for the ages…..you go gurls!

Kate & Hugh’s dance had all of the fun, flair and love you’d expect from these two. And, their guests ate it up!

The final twirl….delightful!

Kate & Hugh’s party kicked off straight away, with our happy couple joining The Sultans of Swing for a bar or two of song! So awesome!

The sun sets as dinner is served….so Great Gatsby!

I had to grab my tripod when I saw this moment, as one of the flower girls, dances on her own during dinner. Like a fairytale come to life!

And, a little while later the party kicked into high gear with some Vineyard Vines inspired limbo. Kate & Hugh provided a ton of ridiculously fun hats for their guests to play with…LOVE!! Check out Cheesburger head following up his wife for some limbo action. AMAZEBALLS!

“Hey sharky, I wanna eat you up”….so playful & fun! Thanks guys!

Fun! Fun! Fun!

The night ended as high as one can, with Hugh & Kate taking center stage and leading one of the most amazing renditions of Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing. I love this view of them in embrace, as their friends & family cheer them on! Just wonderful!

Kate & Hugh…what can we say?! Your wedding was just so incredible, with memories made that will surely last a lifetime! Thank you so much (and thank you Nancy & Craig) for inviting us in and allowing us to be a part of all of that wonderful love & celebration! We had so much fun and hope these photos serve as happy reminders of all of the fun you so obviously had for many happy years to come! More to come soon!! Special thanks too to Jen from Pink Polka Dot Events for being amazing and also to Kat Hanafin for helping us capture some of the fabulous details and happy exchanges during cocktail hour. With lots of love & big hugs, Christine & Andy xoxo
