We are lucky enough to be there at a pivotal time in the lives of many incredible couples, and the honor of that never escapes us. But, sometimes, we find ourselves so inspired by a couple and the love they share, both with each other, and with their families and friends that it’s hard to hold back the tears. I know…that sounds totally sappy and I’ve probably said this before…but it’s true. Such was the case at the incredible wedding of Lauren & Ed. Their first dance in particular was a beautiful thing to behold. There were no fancy dance steps, just two people holding each other tightly looking at each other with such love and devotion. I wanted to go running over to Andy, jump into his arms and tell him that even though I can be a total pain in the a** at times, that I love him more than I ever thought was possible to love another person…it was that good! Fortunately, I didn’t embarrass myself and do that, but I thought about it!
Lauren & Ed said, “I do,” at the breathtaking, almost European-like, Gate of Heaven Parish in South Boston, then headed to the Hyatt Harborside for their reception. The hotel has a permanent tent on the back of the property, with sides that come off, so guests feel like their outside. And the views…well let’s just say the hotel lays claim to some of the most incredible views of the city.
The day itself was picture perfect, complete with summer temperatures, the most incredible sunset and crazy love! Guests spent most of the afternoon milling around outside, dancing underneath a moon-lit sky. It was the kind of wedding day we women fantasize about! Here are a few of our favorite images from the day…
The dress…like the puffy clouds that blanketed the sky through much of the day…

The hotel rooms were really nicely decorated with a mid century feel to them. A sofa in the suite made a funky backdrop for Lauren’s killer shoes. (It’s funny, I’m not someone who tends to buy a lot of shoes or at least not very swanky ones…I usually just find one pair per season that I love and wear the heck out of them. But, I love photographing beautiful shoes. They are like pieces of art to me.)

Here’s a little collage of Lauren getting ready….she is just stunning! The shot of her putting on her shoe is my favorite! I just love the lines of her body…

A little pre-ceremony toast by the guys. Ed’s dad was his best man. How much do we love that? LOVE IT!!!

Here comes the bride… (Check out all of the digital cameras…wouldn’t it be fun to see each person’s unique perspective!?)

Seriously, is that an incredible cathedral ceiling or what?

Dad provides the rings. He was so nervous for the better part of the day, up until he gave his speech, then he seemed to relax. So sweet!!!

Hey girls…

Does this look like a model shot or what? She is just ridiculously gorgeous!

A quick kiss before heading off to the reception…

On the drive between the church and the hotel, we had Lauren & Ed’s limo driver stop at this old abandoned building. With its corrugated steel siding, it has such great character. Not exactly what you think of when you think of wedding photography, but that’s how we roll! The limo driver thought we were crazy for stopping there, but Ed & Lauren were totally up for it! You guys rock!!!!

How awesome was the light coming through the hotel reception area…pretty awesome! Add a little sepia toning, a fabulously-reflective marble floor, and an amazing couple and voila…a scene that oozes romance!

Lauren’s adorable niece gets a little game of chase from her auntie. Check out her bib…”I (heart) my auntie”….Awww…

Love at it’s finest…

And here’s just a few details from their incredible day…

We’d like to give a shout out to the very accommodating staff at the Hyatt. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Thank you to Father Robert Casey for allowing us to get some up close shots from behind the altar. We appreciate your flexibility and Lauren & Ed will no doubt be very grateful when they see the images we were able to get for them! A big heart-felt thank you to Lauren & Ed’s families - Dan & Jeanne, Mike & Jeff, Jim, Jeanne and Amy - you all made us feel so welcomed on such an important day in your families’ lives. We almost didn’t get to be there with you and we appreciate the sacrifices you made to have us there! Truly!!! We had so much fun getting to know all of you and consider you part of our Bello family!
And, our biggest thanks go out to Lauren & Ed, who inspire us to love with hearts wide open. You two are incredible and we feel truly honored to call you friends! Thank you for having such unwaivering faith in us and for reminding us, so completely, why we love what we do! We love you guys! xoxoxo Chris & Andy

Everything was saying rain for Kate & Patrick’s wedding two weekends ago in Hyannisport, but the day turned out to be perfect. We got a little sprinkling right before we were about to do the family portraits, but it lasted only a few seconds…just long enough to get the sweet elderly bagpiper a bit soggy…poor guy! It seemed that good fortune was already shining down on these two love birds and we have no doubt that many more perfect days await them.
Kate & Patrick’s ceremony was held at the lovely St. Mary’s in Barnstable Village. We hadn’t done a wedding there before, but are looking forward to working there again. What a sweet church and the garden out back was fabulous for photos. The party continued at the fabulous Hyannisport Club.
Here are a few of our favorite images from the day:

How cute is Kate’s sister’s dog? Even she has wedding attire! Love it!

Here Kate looks fierce in her killer dress from L’Elite in Boston…Stunning!

I just love the story of anticipation and new beginnings this next one tells.

And how adorable is Patrick in this shot with his Vineyard Vines Dicky Bow? Too cute!

Pat & his guys…

Pat and his girls…

Kate gives her make up a quick check as she waits for the ceremony to start.

We love this church…inside and out..it’s so quaint and the organ pipes make for a beautiful backdrop.

And then it hits you….that moment when you realize you and your best friend are partners for life…

I swear there is something that changes in the eyes of people who are just married. As corny as it may sound, there really is a feeling of peace, love and joy that is just so visible. Getting to see that on a regular basis is truly an honor and a wonderful reminder to hold onto those feelings and live every day with the passion of newlyweds.

And here are just a few details from the day.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Scott, Rose Ann, and the rest of the crew over at the Hyannisport Club for once again making our job such a pleasure and for always taking care of us! You all Rock!! Thanks to Lisa at Delicious Desserts for giving us lots to drool over, to Karen at Lilacs for giving us plenty of gorgeous flowers to photograph and to Reverend Steve Smith for letting us sneak behind the altar to get some fabulous shots! We couldn’t do what we do without all of you!
But, the biggest thanks goes out to Patrick & Kate for inviting us into your lives and letting us be a part of such a special day! You two are such sweet, loving people and a perfect match! We hope you enjoy this little taste of what’s yet to come! xo Christine & Andy

This weekend, we had the pleasure of being there to bear witness as Sandee & Matt took the plunge and said, “I do!” It was an afternoon of love, laughter, and lots of happy tears!!! Sandee & Matt are such warm, loving people. They are that couple, the one who you can just see 60 years from now sitting on a park bench as happy and connected as they are today. And, if you have a hard time believing true love exists…these two will instantly make a believer out of you!
We left the sandy shores of Cape Cod early Saturday afternoon and headed to the Boston Harbor Hotel for their ceremony & reception. What a fabulous location, with views of the harbor and a great city park out the front door. A highlight of the celebration was an emotional video by Black Tie Video featuring interviews with Sandee & Matt, mixed with photos from their childhood and footage from the start of the wedding day. The video was shown just before Matt & Sandee were introduced into their reception. Looking around watching people’s reactions was such a treat! Even the hotel staff members were grinning from ear to ear. Great job Mike!!!
Here are some of our favorite moments from their special day!
Matt shows off his wedding gift from Sandee…a sweet Rolex! Nice one Sandee!!! And Matt didn’t do too bad either, getting Sandee some gorgeous diamond earrings. According to Sandee, she told Matt that he had to get her diamond earrings because he makes fun of her driving….apparently, she gets too distracted by her engagement ring! Something tells me Matt may now be equally distracted.

Sandee gets cheeky and shows off her bling while her bridesmaids show off their Beadiful Jewelry wedding gifts. Designed by Catherine Howe, Sandee had these gorgeous rings and matching earrings made for her bridemaids. So sweet!

Is she beautiful or what?!!

Getting a little help from her friends…

Matt prepares to see Sandee for the first time…You think he’s excited?

And here’s Sandee’s reaction to seeing Matt…

There were a lot of happy tears, especially from Sandee, but this is my favorite weepy photo taken during their ceremony….Can’t you just feel the love?

And here’s some portraits we shot of the happy couple:

A couple of fun street shots…

Is her dress gorgeous or what? Love the way the wind is taking it in this one…

Here they hide in the doorway before being introduced as their guests watch the video. I think one of their cousins spotted them just before this photo was snapped. What a great moment!!!

And here are just a few details from the day:

Thank you to Nicole from the BHH for keeping us on track and helping to make sure everything ran perfectly! Thank you too to Janet Finnocciaro and her sister-in-law, Carolyn, from Fino Flowers in Melrose for giving us so many beautiful arrangements to photograph! Big props go out to Priscilla Bridal for Sandee’s Spankin’ dress and to our good friend, Julianne Mahoney, of Flair Bridesmaids Boutique for making Sandee’s sister and friends look so sassy!
But, our biggest, heart-felt thanks go out to Sandee & Matt. Thank you two for inviting us to share in such a special day in your lives and for welcoming us with such open arms and open hearts! We hope to be there hanging out with you on that park bench 60 years from now reminiscing about your amazing wedding day and all the years in between!! We love you guys! xoxo Chris & Andy

The holidays have put us a bit behind on blogging and we’ve got lots of catching up to do. Big apologies to our faithful bloggers who have likely been disappointed to still be staring at that goofy Elf photo of us! And a special apology to Amy & Terence for not getting their wedding photos on our blog sooner. Usually, we like to get a few of our favorites up before they see the whole collection, but that just didn’t happen this time. So, while this won’t really be that exciting for Amy & Terence, hopefully it will be fun for those of you who just enjoying seeing new stuff on our blog!
Amy & Terence were our last wedding of the 2007 season. They exchanged their “I dos,” on October 27th at the beautiful St. Joan of Arc in Orleans, not far from Amy’s parents’ summer home, which was where we met them when we shot our engagement session with them earlier in the season. We had such fun with them at our engagement session. We started in the backyard, which had views of the water, then headed to the beach for an hour or so before we all went back to Amy’s parents’ house for some delicious champagne and wonderful conversation with her parents, Lucille & Gene (We just love them!! Lucille is the kind of mom who makes you want to be a mom and hope you’d be half as good as she is!). Also joining us were Amy’s brother, Brad (her man of honor), and his very sweet wife, Abby, and Amy’s adorable cousin, Corry, and her hubby, Chris. They were such a fun group; we could have stayed there all night with them sipping champagne!! Thank you all for immediately welcoming us into your family!
Needless to say, we were looking forward to Amy & Terence’s wedding and also to getting to know Terence’s family! After the emotional “I dos” we headed to the ever-elegant Wequassett Inn,for the reception. The food, as always, was delicious and Kalson and his crew once again put on a flawless event. The Marsels of Boston rocked the house and the atmosphere was electric.
It was a perfect ending to a phenomenal season for us. And we’d like to thank Amy & Terence and their families and friends for once again making us feel totally blessed to get to do what we do!!! Just getting to be creative would be enough, but getting to meet and be welcomed so warmly into the lives of such amazing people makes us wonder what we did to deserve such riches!!!
So, without further ado…here are some of our favorite shots from Amy & Terence’s wonderfully heart-felt wedding.

Here’s Amy looking gorgeous!!!

And demurely adorable…

Terence gets some guidance on putting on a dickie bow (American translation…bow tie) from his big brother.

Can’t you just hear the James Bond soundtrack with this shot? I don’t know why, but guys just look so darned handsome (and cool) walking in tuxes.

Amy gets some help ducking raindrops as she makes her way to the church for the ceremony. (Could she be any happier?) Fortunately, the rain stopped by the time the ceremony was over. Luck was certainly on our side this year as we didn’t get rained out once!

All the work and planning certainly take it’s toll even on the most gung-ho couples, but seeing reactions like Terence’s in this shot surely make it worth all of the effort!

Smiles seemed to dominate the day…

Here too…

Amy’s mom (on the right) just couldn’t stop smiling. Lucille is seriously one of the most lovable people you could ever hope to meet.

Terence gets some loving from Amy’s grandma…how much do we love these moments??

Glam girls strike a pose…looking good ladies!

I love this shot…

Heading to the beach for a few minutes of alone time.

Amy’s dad works for Godiva and so all the guests were treated to what I like to call “love in a box.” Man, I wouldn’t look like Amy if my dad worked for Godiva!!!

Here’s Gene getting down and dirty to Mustang Sally….it was a brilliant performance!!! I think the Marcels may be contracting Gene for some upcoming tours. Rock on Gene!!! Who says white boys can’t dance?

Thank you again to Amy &Terence. Your wedding was a perfect ending to an incredible season of weddings!!! We love you guys! xo
Thank you and have a safe and happy New Year!xo C & A

Tracy & Will envisioned a day dotted with all of the rich warm colors that make fall in New England so beautiful and that’s exactly what they got when they said “I do,” in a small church in the quaint RI town of Little Compton. Tracy & Will chose the church because it is near where their friends Allison & Christian live and where they spend a lot of time in the summer. In fact, Allison (who was Tracy’s matron of honor) and Christian were there with us when we photographed Tracy & Will’s engagement session earlier this summer. What a fun day that was!
The October 19th reception took place at the elegant Ocean Cliff Estate in Newport. Generally, most of our weddings keep us here on the Cape, but every now and then we get to photograph in some fantastic off Cape locations like Newport. Tracy looked absolutely stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown, which seemed to have been made for her and her fabulous aerobics instructor physique. She rocked it for sure in that lacy little number! Her grandmother’s antique lace veil complimented the dress perfectly. And, Will’s face when he saw Tracy come walking down the aisle….priceless!
While weddings are obviously a time of love, joy, and celebration, every now and then we meet a couple who just ooze love for one another and Will & Tracy are that kind of couple….Tracy is such a loving, sweet, & caring person and Will is a funny, fun-loving puppy of a guy who you can tell just adores Tracy. We had the pleasure of spending a few hours with them earlier this summer at our engagement session together in Newport and then hung out for a bit afterwards at Ocean Cliff, since we hadn’t worked there before and wanted to get a feel for the place. We just loved them and knew right away that their wedding would be special and indeed it was! From all of the little fall details to the setting, but most especially to the love you could see all around them, in their friends’ and family members’ speeches to the way Will got everyone going crazy on the dance floor. It was definitely a fun almost-end to the season for us!
Here are a few of our favorites from the day:
Like little girls playing dress up Tracy & Allison get a first look at Tracy in her wedding dress. Love the expressions of joy in their eyes….so sweet!

Tracy’s dad was fighting back the tears seeing his little girl all grown up….he almost had me going!!!

A last quick peek before heading to the church.

Will’s signature color is pink….and so his wedding wouldn’t be complete without a touch or two (check out those socks).

I just love the looks on these altar boys’ faces watching Tracy & Will exchange rings. It was a very emotional ceremony and even they seemed drawn in!

It was about an hour drive between the church and Ocean Cliff, which gave everyone (including us) time to enjoy the fall views…

Wanting to include all of their friends and their spouses in some of the photos, Tracy & Will asked to stop for a bit at a farm stand with a pumpkin patch for a big group photo. Love it!

Having a giggle with friends.

Bling Bling…

Playing in the leaves. They were a bit wet and just seemed to fall to the ground in one big clump when they tossed them in the air, which is why they were cracking up!

This shot was really vibrant in color, but we just love how textural it looks in black and white!

A moment alone to reflect…Can’t you just see the love in her eyes!!!

And a quick kiss before heading to the reception.

Just married…

The grand ballroom at Ocean Cliff looks out over Newport’s rugged shore. Unfortunately, the weather was very iffy most of the day, so it was a bit overcast, but it was still a dramatic setting.

A big heart-felt thank you to Tracy & Will for being such an inspirational couple. You two love without limits and it is beautiful to behold! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a happy and memorable time in your lives! We love you guys!!! xoxo C & A
P.S. Allison you were a star & warmed our hearts with your rendition of Carole King’s “You’ve got a Friend.” You rock girlfriend!

Sarah & Parke’s wedding was something the Great Gatsby would have enjoyed. It was elegant and understated, but the guests were clearly there to have a good time. And at the center of it all was the coming together of two people clearly meant for one another.
We had the pleasure of being there with Sarah & Parke when the said, “I do,” last month at St. Peter’s Church in Osterville. The reception followed at Sarah’s family’s beach front home also in Osterville. The ever-professional Undercover Tent erected a tent on the private tennis court for guests to enjoy the culinary delights of Cape Cod’s premier caterer, Olive Chase of Casual Gourmet. Meredith Fancy of Fancy Flowers put together a beautiful display of fall arrangements and the band Rare Form rocked the house until late into the night.
Thank you to all of the other vendors for helping to make our job so easy. But, most especially a big BIG thank you goes out to Sarah & Parke, and both of their families, for allowing us to be there with them on such an auspicious occasion! The love and friendship you have shown us means more to us than you can know! Big hugs to you all! xoxox C & A
Sarah looking stunning in her gorgeous gown from Kleinfeld’s in New York.

A moment with flowergirls Isabella & Julia.

Parke puts on his tie while his brother, Taylor, looks on.

Check out those baby blues….lookin’ good Parke!

Sneaking in the back of the church for their big entrance, Sarah and her bridesmaids prepare to walk down the aisle.

It’s subtle exchanges like this that are the moments we live for… (Don’t you just love the way Sarah is looking so lovingly at Parke? It’s as if there is no one else in the world at that moment. LOVE IT!!)

We did it!! Sarah and Parke face their friends and family after being pronounced hubby & wife, then take a moment for a quick kiss before leaving the church in style in Parke’s dad’s MG.

Picture perfect…

The guys…

And girls…

Some guests enjoy the view down on the family’s private beach.

Tennis anyone? Okay, maybe not now. You’d never know it was a tennis court would you?

Thank you again Sarah & Park for opening your hearts to us. We feel truly honored to have been a part of such a memorable time in your lives! You guys are the best!! xo

We shot our first wedding at the Cape Cod Museum of Art last month. What a fabulous place for a wedding, surrounded by all of that art it was hard not to feel inspired. Equally inspirational was the relationship of the couple whose wedding we were photographing. If ever two people were perfectly suited to one another Cathleen and Stephen are certainly those people. They are a fun, silly couple who seems to thrive on stirring things up and bucking tradition. A perfect example of this was Cathleen’s wedding dress with it’s come-hither red accents. Red, and the love it inspires, were certainly themes for this fall wedding, with gorgeous red and yellow floral arrangements featuring sunflowers and red lilies. There were votives filled with cranberries on the tables, and Cathleen hand-painted the table numbers using very art-inspired red and yellow designs…very impressive!
Catering was provided by Crazy Chef’s, which does a stunning job with displays. Art could be seen in everywhere, including on the passed hors d’oeuvre trays. It really was such a lovely venue for a reception. We snuck away for a bit to take the bridal party to the beach for some photos….wouldn’t you know it was an unseasonably warm October afternoon and Corporation Beach in Dennis was packed! It seriously looked like a July afternoon with people everywhere! We managed to find a little corner away from the crowds. Here are some photos from the day. Enjoy!
Here’s a shot of Cathleen & Stephen’s invitation with their wedding bands.

Heirlooms from Cathleen’s grandmother stayed close to her heart throughout the wedding.

Stephen gets a hug of encouragement from his dad just before the ceremony.

Here comes the bride.

Love this shot of one of the flower girls receiving communion. Too cute!

A tender touch during the vows. Cathleen got a little teary eyed during the vows and ring exchange. We just love weddings!!! So much love!!!

Looking ever so sassy down by the sea wall.

Cathleen and her bridesmaids react to a photo of Mario, Cathleen’s friend and one of her attendants. He was a total clown during our group shot. I like to give clients a peek when we get a good one. Andy’s more secretive…he likes to WOW later! I just can’t wait!

Love and art go hand in hand

A great big thank you to Cathleen & Stephen for being so much fun to work with. We feel truly honored to have been there with you on such an important day and hope these photos keep those feelings of love and joy on the surface for many years to come!!! With hugs, C&A

Molly & Guy’s wedding was one of those weddings for us when it was impossible to be there with them and not want to join the party! The ceremony was a full mass at Corpus Christie Parish in Sandwich. We’ve never been to the Parish before, but it was a big beautiful building with a grandness that perfectly suited this couple and their celebration! We stopped at Dowses Beach in Osterville for some alone time with Molly & Guy and then joined the party back at Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee where things really got going.
The high energy Boston-based band Beantown rocked the house and allowed guests to get in on the act. It was hysterical to watch and the energy was infectious. The temptation to grab an instrument and join the fun was hard to resist!!!
Thank you to Randy and the crew at Willowbend for providing an incredible backdrop on a perfect fall afternoon, for always taking care of us and making sure things run smoothly, and for making our job such a breeze.
Our biggest thank you goes out to Molly & Guy who are such fabulous people and a perfect match! You two were a blast at our engagement session last spring and we knew your wedding would be amazing. You certainly didn’t disappoint! You guys rock and we love you! Thank you for just being you!!! xoxoxo
Below are a few of our favorite photos from the day. ENJOY!!
Molly tries to tuck behind the door leading into the waiting room off the church’s grand entrance to hide from guests as they arrive before the ceremony begins.

And here, one of Guy’s nieces gets emotional during the ceremony as her new cousins comfort her….seriously, is that a cute photo or what?

Molly’s stunning Vera Wang dress from L’Elite Bridal Boutique in Boston was a show stopper! Here she & Guy leave the church after saying, “I do!”

A quick kiss and a toast before heading to the beach for photos. This Rolls Royce by Executive Transportation of West Falmouth is our favorite for the killer red fabric lining the roof’s interior and the sexy red leather seats! Request Chris as your driver…he’s sweet, low-key and as a Cape native he knows where he’s going and how long it takes to get there, which helps ensure you arrive on time!

If you’ve followed this blog at all, you’ve probably sensed I have a thing for shoes. Love these puppies by Kate Spade with the cutesy bows on the back to match the bow on the back of Molly’s dress.

Simply stunning….Is he a lucky Guy or what?

Back at Willowbend for photos with the rest of the gang.

Guy gets a little lift from his friends! Whooooaaaa!!!

Here they get a bit more serious….not to mention studly!

The girls show they know how to have a little fun too. I don’t know what it is, but we have the best looking couples and wedding parties. You all make us look good and make our job a piece of cake!!

Molly & Guy’s moms, Sheila & Sara, celebrate as M&G seal their new union with a kiss.

What do you think Molly’s niece is thinking as she checks out the cake??

A new Elvis is born…Guy’s nephew joins the band with some serious hip hop style!

Molly lets loose as she rocks out with Beantown.

Well, that’s just a glimpse into Molly & Guy’s special day. Thank you both again for being so wonderful and so much fun to be around!!! xoxoxo C&A

Maybe it’s because they both come from large families, Kaitlin with her brother and 2 sisters and Adam with his sister and 3 brothers, but whatever the reason Kaitlin & Adam are the kind of people you just want to have around you. They are sweet, optimistic, energetic, fun, and completely in love. We had the pleasure of being there with them as they said, “I do” a few weeks ago. The day started off cloudy and rain seemed to threaten their tented reception at the Asa Bushnell House in Centerville. There was a quick rain storm just as the ceremony started, but by the time Father Mark Hession of Our Lady of Victory in Centerville prompted the newly married couple to kiss, the rain had stopped. At Dowses beach for photos with family & their bridal party, the skies provided a dramatic backdrop and by the end of our time on the beach, the sun poked through for the most incredible light for portraits of Kaitlin & Adam. Here are some of our favorites from the day:
Kaitlin’s killer Christian Louboutin baby blue pumps. I was obsessed with these puppies and the way her legs looked in them all day! FABULOUS!!! Oh, and how about her gorgeous ring! Sweet!!!

Hopping on the trolley to head for the church…see what I mean about her legs!!!

And how about this handsome devil and his groomsmen? Not too shabby!

Adam showing off his new hardware.

We often recommend that brides keep it simple when it comes to make up on their wedding day and Kaitlin hit a homerun with her wedding day look. (Love the eyelashes!!! Don’t be afraid of fakies ladies…they can really add some serious wow factor!)

Adam didn’t do too bad with his wedding day look either….Eat your heart out 007!

The wind was a bit breezy down at the beach for our photos, but it came in handy for this shot.

Check out those cool storm clouds and how they contrast with the sun peeking through….love it!

Cocktail hour at Asa Bushnell House

And here’s the view the guests enjoyed…

I love this angle during the toasts. And Kaitlin just looks so beautiful listening to her dad’s heart-felt speech.

A big hug and thank you to Kaitlin & Adam for choosing us as your photographers. We loved getting to know you at our engagement session earlier this summer and were truly honored to be there with you on such a special day. You two are wonderful and we hope you keep us in your lives for a long, long time! xoxo Chris & Andy

We knew last year, after our engagement session with Allison & Greg, that their wedding was going to be a lot of fun. Not only did they immediately place their trust in us and let down their guard to have some fun, but their love and affection for each other were clearly visible. Nothing is a surer recipe for great photos than love, laughter and a pinch of faith!
Not only did their wedding measure up, but it far exceeded all of our expectations. Surrounded by 83 of their closest friends and family, Allison & Greg said, “I do,” on the deck of the Carriage House at the stunning Ocean Edge in Brewster. It was a gorgeous day, and an afternoon ceremony, which we love, since we favor using natural light whenever possible. The band Flipside provided the perfect soundtrack to the party, with everyone dancing the day away.
The best part of the afternoon for us was when we surprised Allison & Greg with a slideshow of images from the wedding day after dinner. We set up our laptop just outside the dining room and let it run, which is something new we’ve started doing for our clients. The reaction we got from everyone at the wedding was just amazing. We actually felt a little bad at one point when the dance floor suddenly cleared and a crowd formed around the laptop. Allison’s mom, Elaine, and Greg’s mom, Randye, couldn’t stop thanking us and made us feel like we were rock stars. I started wondering if we were going to be asked for autographs! (hee hee) Seriously though, we’ve never got so many hugs and kisses leaving a wedding! It was really such a treat for us! Randye had even told us she was inspired to write a song for Allison & Greg as a gift to them after watching the slideshow we had put together for them after our engagement session…we were honored and dumbstruck that she would find such inspiration in our work. We really do have the best job EVER!!!!
So, a big thank you to Allison & Greg and their wonderful families for allowing us to be a part of such a special time in their lives and for welcoming us with such love! We’re all about spreading the love, so thank you for sending some our way! Hope you feel us sending it right back to all of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! xoxoxo C&A
Now without further ado…here’s a sampling of things to come.
Here’s Allison getting her make done.

Check out how gorgeous her hair looked, thanks to Erin Keefe of Ten X Spa. Erin also did the hair of another Bello bride, Erin May (check out our City Chic blog to see Erin’s stunning tresses).

Allison gets her first look at Greg before their ceremony. We did family formals before the ceremony, which was more relaxing for everyone and allowed Greg & Allison to enjoy their cocktail hour. Plus, it gives us the opportunity to capture great moments like these:

Allison’s mom, Elaine, walks past as the happy couple takes a moment to enjoy each other.

Allison & Greg get a hug from Greg’s parents, Randye and Bob. Is that a happy family or what?

Best friends Matt & Pam share a giggle with the happy couple before they say, “I do.”

A moment alone (except of course, we’re there too!)

After the ceremony, we took Allison & Greg down to Ocean Edge’s private beach. Here are a few shots from our time together.

Here’s one of my favorites from the day…they just look so totally happy and into each other.

Thank you again Allison & Greg for everything….you guys rock! xoxo
