Hey there. Welcome to our blog! We are Andy Beet & Christine Ferullo of Bello Photography, married photographers living on beautiful Cape Cod. Together we specialize in photographing those unforgettable moments, incredible details, and intimate relationships that make every wedding special. We feel truly blessed to do what we do and want to share a little bit of that with you.

We will be posting super-sized images of our fabulous Bello couples, from their engagement session to their wedding day. We might even add a slide show or two! Through our blog, we will also introduce you to some of our personal projects and provide a glimpse of what makes us tick. So browse through the posts, check the archives, leave comments, and SPREAD THE LOVE!

    Mystery guest

    Friday, 16 January 2009

Anyone who has spent more than an hour here with us at our home will know that we seem to attract lots of animals to our yard. It’s like Wild Kingdom here at Bello headquarters. But, this isn’t the result of some happy accident. Because, those of you who know Andy well, will also know that he goes out of his way to attract critters.

Admittedly, most of our visitors are of the feathered variety - hummingbirds, pheasants, woodpeckers, hawks, cuckoos. The list goes on. We’ve also seen some furry creatures, including squirrels…the bane of Andy’s existence.

Well, this year, with the recent snow we’ve had, evidence of a previously unseen species has suddenly appeared. And, based on its tracks, I think it’s safe to say, it’s not a bird. Check out these funky tracks leading to our shed.

Curious to know what might have caused such a shuffle from our shed to our deck, Andy went online in seach of answers. And, answers he found.

Do you think you know which animal these strange tracks belongs to? (I’ll give you a hint….the swishing pattern is a dead giveaway. And, no…it’s not a snake. Although, I admit, I did wonder for a second.)

WOW! You have peaked my curiousity Christine and we the viewers must find out! I actually plan on showing this to my students b/c we do a great unit on winter animals and a fun activity with animal tracks ( yes, even in TX where it doesn’t snow) I will submit my guess as a Badger or possibly a woodchuck, but I have a feeling that I am wrong and the width looks too wide to be one of those. I showed it to Josh and he doesn’t think it’s an animal at all. The mystery continues, but please let us know :)

with being able to see these tracks in person, stef and i may have had an advantage, or we could be dead wrong. our “educated” guess would have to be Porcupine. please let us know.

Ok guys, so one of you got it right!! It was indeed a porcupine! And by the look of its tracks, it seems like quite a large one. Wish we’d got to see it!!

      Well done Justin & Stef
