What do you get when you mix two hip young people, all of their family and friends, delicious food, incredible music, and the always picturesque setting of summer by the shore? A quintessential Cape Cod wedding, filled with lots of love and plenty of celebration.
We had the pleasure of being there with Mollie & Ben two weeks ago when these hip & successful New Yorkers said, “I do,” surrounded by the love & support of 150 of their closest friends and family at the ever-elegant Wequassett Resort in Chatham. We first met Mollie & Ben last year, after Mollie’s mom, Karen, contacted us to photograph her daughter’s wedding. And, we met up again this spring in NYC for their engagement session…so fun! Mollie & Ben’s wedding proved to be equally as enjoyable. Check it out…
I just love this angle on Mollie. Finishing make up touches were being applied and the light spilled over her curves in such a beautiful way…

A quick look and a last-minute hair adjustment before dashing out the door. How amazing is that Vera Wang gown? LOVE IT!!! It completely complimented the “crumbled English garden” theme Mollie & Ben chose for their wedding.

The girls show off their custom-designed Freddy & Ma clutches Mollie had made for them as a “thank you for having my back” gift. How cool are they? Very stylish!

Five minutes and counting…Ben and his guys hang out waiting for the ceremony to start.

Mollie was so nervous on the walk down to the croquet lawn. She couldn’t look at Ben for most of the walk. I just love the anticipation you feel in this shot.

Pretty in pink…rose petals lined the aisle and the overcast sky provided the most beautiful even light.

Yeaah, we did it!

Mollie & Ben head to the beach for some photos, with the bridesmaids trailing behind.

Mollie & her girls…Does she look happy or what?

The happy couple…

It was pretty windy, so Mollie took a second to help fluff Ben’s hair. Awww…they’re already like an old married couple.

The hora is one of my favorite parts of the Jewish wedding ceremony. There is just so much energy and excitement and such a feeling of community. It’s hard not to get swept up in it.

And here are just a few details from Mollie & Ben’s amazing wedding…

Big thanks to Kara and the rest of the staff at the Wequassett for taking such good care of us and, as always, for making sure things ran so smoothly. A big shout out to the talented Night Shift for once again keeping the crowd jumping and giving us lots of great fodder for fun dancing shots! Thanks also go out to Clementine Florals for providing some amazing color to the day. We hear they may try and submit the wedding to Martha Stewart Magazine. Yippee!!
And, of course, a heart-felt thank you to Mollie & Ben for inviting us to share in such a special day in your lives. We hope the photos serve as a wonderful reminder of the love you share, the blessings you have in family and good friends and all of the joy that awaits you in your life together as hubby & wife. Thank you and big hugs, Chris & Andy

Does anyone know where those bridesmaid dresses are from? I love that style!
Hey Kristen,
I love these bridesmaids’ dresses too!!! You have great taste!! The designer is Melissa Sweet. And Mollie’s dress, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE…is Vera Wang.
